Animated Short
A morbidly humorous short epic about candy at war.
Student Film
Milton has had enough of the dingy nursing home where he lives. His roommate, Fred, doesn't understand him, the staff humiliates him, and he may be running out of time. So he plots his escape. But Rhonda, the lead orderly at the home and a formidable opponent, stands firmly between Milton and the doorway to Freedom...
Student Film
Billy is a plumber. He is a young man and yearns for more in life. When he shows up at Mrs. Conrad's house to fix the water heater, he soon realizes that this is no ordinary day of work and maybe, just maybe, Mrs. Conrad might be the one to give him the attention he longs for.
Fiction Short
An indie auteur is filming his Christian masterpiece, "Christ Killer‚" against a piece of green felt taped to the wall of his church's junior high room. What could possibly go right? Wringing out an Oscar-worthy performance is child's play next to keeping the under-fed free labor from walking out, especially when the auteur's perfectionism spills out into berating tirades. It'll take a miracle to pull this thing off.
Student Film
Shot in 16 mm black and white film, this character portrait of a Japanese immigrant to America explores human dignity in the face of severe adverse life trials during World War II in Manchuria as well as in Japan's post-war environment. Yoshiko Akazawa shares her experience in choosing life and survival over despair and death. Despite her tragedies, she lives a peaceful, happy life, and through her stories, she gives an example of friendship and harmony with nature. Rather than an indictment, If No War? is Yoshi's question to the world.
Fiction Short
A romantic couple's brief encounter with several philisophical thugs unfolds in an unusual way.
Fiction Short
With the beginnings of the Internet as a military tool, the sound from Invoice has been partly mined from the Internet and altered. The Internet rumor for the origin of the spoken word is that it originated from an American military training video. After conducting a Google search, the following results were found on that day: the word money appeared 659,000,000 times, war 543,000,000, culture 408,000,000, communication 344,000,000 and freedom 209,000,000. The thrown pennies represent ritualized violence, a body count, helplessness, absurdity and seeks allocution.
Fiction Short
Sometimes indirect communication hides right in front of your eyes.
